A Wife For Seven Pigs.

     Wives in New Guinea have a miserable time. It is true they have a high value-sometimes as many as seven pigs are paid for a wife. But the wives are badly treated and often are killed for minor offenses. Yet, strange to say, in New Guinea it is the girl who proposes marriage.
