    While the infant child of Preston MeIimaine of Evansville, Ind., was sleeping in its crib a large house cat leaped upon its breast and badly lacerated its face. Several large holes were torn in the cheeks of the child, and it lived but a short time. It is supposed the cat had hydrophobia.
