Uncle Dick and Lisa's Old Time Animal Tales

Fred Schafer of 457 Belvidere St., has a real “man-eating” horse. At least that is what he claims. Schaefer bought the horse about two days ago. This morning when he went into the stall the horse reached out his head and took a good sized bite in Schafer’s face. About noon Schafer’s condition was learned for the first time and a physician was summoned. Schafer refused to have the would attended to. Then the police were summoned and had to literally carry him into the police patrol. Schafer intimates he may sue the man from whom he bought the animal for selling him a “man-eating” horse.
