Farmer Dies From Exhaustion After a Hard Battle.
    Bridgeport, N. J., Dec. 16.-G. Willis Bateman, a prosperous farmer of Fairfield township, died from exhaustion after a terrible struggle with a big ram. Bateman had sold some sheep, and when he was separating them the ram attacked him.
    He caught the animal by the horns, and for a long while battled with it, finally falling dead.
