Cincinnati, Oct. 2-An owl which flew into the open window of a law office on the ninth floor of the Carew Building gave rise to a burglar alarm, scared a night watchman half to death and finally was captured by the burglar hunters and turned over to the zoo. The watchman was making his rounds when he heard a noise in the closed office and after summoning aid, opened the door to investigate. He found the owl perched on top of a ponderous law book, looking ridiculously wise considering the foolish predicament into which he had got himself.
