Uncle Dick and Lisa's Old Time Animal Tales

     Averring that thirty-five pet cats and two dogs had superseded him in his wife’s affections, and ranked higher than he in the household, Samuel W. Odell, of Bethel, Kan., a civil war veteran, 74 years old, has sued Sarah L. Odell for divorce. His experiences in Andersonville prison during the Civil war were pleasant, he told his attorney, compared with the life which his wife’s pets led him in the six weeks of their married life, which began last April.
