Horses.

A pair of horses, owned by Harvey Durkee, were drowned in the Kenosha harbor last Friday afternoon. The team had been engaged in hauling baled hay from the press barn on Park street to Baldwin’s warehouse, and in coming out of the latter place, after the teamster had disposed of a load, the horses backed off the dock and the weight of the wagon dragged them under the water. Loss, between $300 and $400.
