Utilizing The Pigs.

     A coasting steamer was wrecked near Sydney, N. S. W. The captain tied life lines to some pigs which formed part of the cargo. These on being thrown over-board quickly swam ashore, taking the lines with them. Communication being thus established, every person on board was rescued.
