Big Elephants on A Rampage.

Published in the Lake County Independent, Libertyville, Illinois on 07/24/1896.      During the parade of a circus at Winnipeg, Man., two of the big elephants broke from their keepers and stampeded up Main street. Winnipeg has never had a more exciting time. The elephants were recaptured with much difficulty and danger.
